Product Description

A very rare set of four Chinese export silver candlesticks in the Adams style and complete with their original detachable sconces.

The candlesticks are fully marked with Chinese characters for Fu Xian of Tientsin (Tianjin).   The marks are to the bottom of each sconce and to the underside of the base of the sticks.

Fu Xian is known to have traded in Tientsin from about 1895-1930.
